Studio 49 was founded by Emma Knight, a publicist with over 25 years' experience delivering bestselling campaigns. Her most recent role was at Hodder & Stoughton, part of Hachette UK, where she twice won the Publicity Campaign of the Year Award at the Nibbies. Before moving into publishing, Emma worked in TV drama publicity at the BBC.
She has deep experience working across fiction - with David Nicholls, Graham Norton, Sara Cox, Jasper Fforde and many others - and non-fiction, including celebrity, memoir, lifestyle, wellbeing, sport and cookery. Emma founded Studio 49 because she saw that some authors need - and deserve - more time and energy spent on their campaigns.
